I got a yellow squash today for Bunny since I read that rabbits can eat it and its been a while since she got the chance to try anything new.

But I'm wondering if I should peel the skin off before I give it to her. Is it okay for a rabbit to eat the squashes skin or should I peel it?

Since nobody has commented on this I will. If I were you I would remove the skin just to be on the safe side. I have never fed squash to my rabbits so have no personal experience. I would air on the side of caution.

I have never fed squash to my bunnies ( I feed it to my fish and I eat it as well) If I were going to feed it to the bunnies I would wash it, leave the skin on and cut it up into pieces appropriate for the size bunny you have.

I have fed my buns squash. It is ok for them as long as their are no big seeds in the middle. Sometimes they leave it in their bowl so it must not be a favorite veggie.
