frank has been leaving pee spots here and there on his third level lately, but this morning there were 4 spots on the bottom level RIGHT next to the litterbox and a big spot on the third next to that litter box, along with poop everywhere...

I dont know what to doo :( how do you re-train a bunny? when he first came to us we just put the box in there and he took right to it. he still doesnt go outside of the cage but there is just piss everywhere inside it:(

Melody is doing the same thing. He pees right next to his box and sometimes will push it out of the way and pee behind it.

Sometimes if there is a urinary tract problem going on, like a UTI or bladder sludge, it can cause a sudden loss of litter box habits. Also, changes in a rabbits routine or environment can sometimes cause the pee accidents.

How old is this bunny? Sometimes when they're young they have great litter habits and then hit puberty and bam! They're peeing every where and pooping everywhere. If that's the case then getting him neutered should help alot.

hes a year and hes neutered. hes never had litter box problems even before we got him neutered! its just been the last week or so. how do you know if its a uti or bladder infection?whats sludge look like? it seemed to look normal to me
