DIY mat

i saw this on Pinterest and decided to make it!

for this, you will need a whole roll of the dollar tree paper. first you will cut the paper every 6 inches. don't try and flatten it!


once cut, it will try and fold up again. just squish the paper as shown, but to the whole thing



continue until you have 30 of them.


start the weaving process! clothespin- one over, one under etc and leaf some overlap



you will eventually find what way is easiest for you to weave them...


when you are done (you might not be able to fit all of the pieces) fold every other strand over and tuck it into the next one...




then flip it over and do the rest of them.

Very cute! Yes, definitely keep us updated. I think my rabbit would really enjoy this; she doesn't like any sort of bedding but she likes flat/semi-flat surfaces to lie on. Maybe she'd like this!
