So I went to visit the bunnies from my original post here: http://www.rabbitsonline.net/showthread.php?t=84974

And the director of the shelter told me she looked at their paperwork again and the are American Blue Flemish. Since that doesn't exist, do you guys think they are American/Flemish x? Also, All of them are males, I'm guessing since they are siblings, fighting (after neuter) wont be an issue?

American blues are coming back.

They have a similar body shape to a flemish.

Depending on the area you live in, they could be american. :)

well, I mean, I am in the states so *technically* they are "American" lol! Their birth date is may 10th. If we do get one or two of them, it will be the first time I've owned a bunny whose birth date is known! They're beautiful. My boyfriend was hesitant because we need to make more preparations for them, but I pointed out, the sooner we get them and can start giving them lots of attention, the better off we'll be. Hoping to get them in the next week or two.

American is a BREED of rabbit not a location. :)

Here is a link: http://www.livestockconservancy.org/index.php/heritage/internal/american

whether they are american (the breed) or not. Just enjoy the rabbit you have (or will get). :) Unless you actually SEE the parents and they have paperwork to say what they are, they will most likely be crosses.

In my years I've seen rabbits called all sorts of interesting breeds which they aren't. and people say "my rabbit is this breed, when by all standards it is not." 6 lbs "dwarfs".

So just enjoy the rabbit you have and be glad you have it. :)
