    Is a Pen necessary?

Penelope’s free range all of the time and has been for the year and a half I’ve had her, so is there any need for me to actually have a pen for her? It takes up a lot of space and I’m just wondering whether it is actually necessary or can I just have a set area where her litter box and...

    Bonding two bunnies?

I’ve had Penelope for just over a year now and she is a free ranging house rabbit. She is spayed and the male rabbit that I’m wanting to bond her with is also spayed. He is 4 years old and lost his mate a few months back and is not happy in his current living situation. In terms of bonding can...

    Someone help!

I ended up taking her to the vet and they couldn’t find anything wrong with her and put it down to gas! What a night that was, they defiantly know how to scare us don’t they!

2019 Cages - add your photo!

This is Penelope’s one! She has so much space to run about whilst I’m at work and is free range when I’m at home and throughout the night! She loves it!

    Someone help!

I’m so confused and can’t find any answers anywhere online! Last night around 9pm I noticed Penelope was really lethargic, tired and kept lying down everywhere, she wasn’t interested in her food or water, so naturally I became concerned and sat with her for most of the night. At one point she...

    Getting Bunny a friend

Is this the best thing to do? Penelope is an indoor free range bunny, very happy and chilled. But I’ve had a lot of people recently telling me I need to get her a friend because she might become depressed? She shows no sign of depression, she’s always very happy and loves having cuddles, enjoys...

    2018 Cages

Thought I’d add Penelope’s updated cage! She used to constantly rattle her cage door at night but giving her this extra space seems to have calmed that down a lot! Very happy Bun Mum now!

    Lullabies?

Something I’ve noticed over the past few months is whenever I have lullaby music on (as well as Ed Sheeran) Penelope seems to really relax and flop whenever she hears it! Like it almost puts her to sleep! Quite intriguing really and wondering if any one else’s buns do this too?

    Spayed Bunny

Penelope was spayed last week, and although she was a needy bunny anyway, since she got spayed she’s been very overly affectionate. She’s free range and used to run all around the house and when she wanted a rest she’d use her bed, but now she’ll follow me round the house and prefers to sleep on...

    Clingy Bunny

Should I be concerned about how attached Penelope is? She is free range most of the time, and will follow me around my house, sleeps on the pillow next to me at night and is constantly seeking cuddles and attention from me! She very rarely leaves my side. I was originally told when I rescued her...

When is my bunny fully grown?

I don’t think I’m over feeding her on veggies, she’s free roam across the house so she gets enough exercise! I typically feed her a range of veggies in the morning but nothing I would say that was too excessive? This morning she’s had a few cucumber sticks and a handful of coriander, as well as...

When is my bunny fully grown?

I have just weighed her this morning and she’s around 4.3lbs, is she overweight? She’s active enough and free roam across the house all the time so it’s not like she doesn’t get exercise, she is constantly binkying and running about!

When is my bunny fully grown?

So I rescued Penelope from a rescue centre and they couldn’t really give me much information about her or her breed, other than that she thought she was a runt of the litter. From my research and what others have said I believe she is a Lionhead/Mini Rex mix (please correct me if I’m wrong). She...

Bunny grew a mane over night!

So I woke up this morning thinking I had a new bunny next to me, Penelope seems to have grown her mane over night, is this normal? I was skeptical over what breed she was but now I’m thinking she’s defiantly a mix between two different breeds, any ideas?

    Rabbit licks everything!

No she’s booked in to be spayed in November when she’s a bit older so it could possibly be that! she gets so much attention as she’s a house bunny so I can’t see it being attention seeking but I will keep an eye on it all anyway, thank you!!

    Rabbit licks everything!

So recently Penelope has developed this habit of licking everything, she will lick pillows, the carpet, her blankets, my bed and will spend hours licking me if she could. Is this a habit I have to try and stop her doing? Is it harmful to her? And if so how do I stop her. She’s not a chewer...

    2018 Cages

This is Penelope’s little space! She has free run of the house when I’m in but whilst I’m at work I’ve tried to give her a large space where she can still play and binky about!

    What breed is my bunny?

Ahhh thank you, I have googled lion head and mini Rex mix and she does look a lot like them! Time will tell when I wake up and she has a full mane! Haha. Thank you for giving me some insight, her fur is particularly fluffy which makes me think she is part lion head[emoji195]

    Water bottle or bowl?

I have been looking at different options for Penelope, and thinking of switching to a water bowl if she prefers this. What can I do to encourage her to drink from a bowl, or should I just present her with the two options (bottle or bowl) and see which one she chooses?

    House Bunny living arrangements.

My house rabbit is free range for the majority of the day, shes so well behaved and is generally very clean and tidy, for the time at when I’m at work she goes into her indoor cage, but I am now looking into more spacious options as I want her to have the more freedom whilst I’m at work. My...
