How to stop my rabbit from biting at the run?

He used to play both inside and outside, but after one incident of a dirty bum, we've had to stop him from playing inside. And he has normal stools as well as soft ones, but it's the soft ones that are sticking to his bum.

How to stop my rabbit from biting at the run?

By cage-like bars, I mean the bars of say, a normal rabbit hutch or like a puppy pen, such as the bars in this run: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01LATVEFY/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20 I'm definitely aware of predators (only really the few cats around the neighbourhood), and keep an eye on him.

How to stop my rabbit from biting at the run?

Hi! So I did some hunting around online and found a couple of runs that look similar to a puppy pen, with thicker more durable bars than wire or plastic. Can you please check them out? Thank you so much...

How to stop my rabbit from biting at the run?

Tell me about it! The run lasted about a week in total :cry1: Would you happen to know of any other materials that could last just as long as the bars of hutches last? The run was first around 2x3m, but I eventually expanded it to around 2.5x6m, and he seemed to really enjoy it at the start...

How to stop my rabbit from biting at the run?

Would chicken wire definitely hold off my bunny's chompers? Like would it last for quite a while, or just a few weeks? I'm considering possibly buying a run with cage-like bars from online. What do you think about this idea? Thank you for the suggestion! :)

How to stop my rabbit from biting at the run?

Hi there! I recently made a run for my rabbit using a tough plastic trellis sort of material (the product was recommended for chickens and rabbits), and sticking stakes in the ground to provide the run with shape and support. My bunny absolutely loves it! He was binkying so much the other...

My bunny is really aggressive please help!

Bunny has been producing normal fecal balls (the usual dry, round ones), but the ones stuck to his bottom are sticky and quite pungent (his poops have never smelled bad before). We changed our pellets only after the mushy poop incident, so I don't think that would be the major issue, have not...

My bunny is really aggressive please help!

I haven't tried tricks yet, just wanted to take the process slowly and for him to warm up to me slowly :) I will in time though! Would you be able to recommend some websites teaching tricks? Thank you!

    Bunny

Bunny is a five year old Flemish Giant cross (with something no one knew, so it is still a mystery!) He is incredibly feisty, but packed with energy and youth, despite getting older. He occasionally enjoys stroking, especially long, comforting strokes on the head, and is super fluffy, and...

My bunny is really aggressive please help!

Hi there, Thank you for helping me understand this issue! He was neutered a long time ago, and I have solved the issue of his aggressiveness and taking him out of the cage (as I have newly posted). I am quite young, however that does not justify my irresponsibility with my rabbit, and I am...

My bunny is really aggressive please help!

Hi everyone, Thank you so much for the advice! I have been praying a lot about this issue, and confronted my mother about the abuse, to which I think she took onboard, as she does not hit Bunny anymore, and instead pats him and is gentle with him. I took him out of the cage for the first time...

My bunny is really aggressive please help!

I have had my rabbit, Bunny, for five years now, and from the start he has been extremely aggressive. Biting, clawing and lunging at my family and I, and I really want to fix this issue. He is especially aggressive when I want to take him out of his cage to walk him, and will attack my hands. My...
