I would move them to the hutch unless you want completely wild unhandlable babies! They need lots of attention at this young age or they will not be friendly.
Thanks for the comments everyone! Yesterday's pic.

I decided to make a blog for my first english angora litter. I will post daily or almost daily pics of them in this thread.
The parents of this litter are Star a REW english angora
And Pancake a Chocolate tort english angora
Day one
Star left me a nice little present in the nest...
I've noticed older rabbits are much harder to do. When I did my 6 week old babies though it was very easy. On two of mine that were really jumpy I did one letter/number each session over a few days.
She is doing great. She is a good momma so far, they all have full bellies and a nice cozy nest. Poor baby is bald in some spots. Now I just have 2 jersey wooly pregnancies to get through!
Star REW and Pancake Chocolate Tort have a new litter in the nest box. I'm so excited! There are 7 babies, 3 look chocolate and 4 are light in color they could be REW like momma or chocolate tort or any light color. I will know in a few days.

Poor bun. That is ridiculously dirty! I am all for stricter laws but i am against being forced to pay a huge licensing fee and allowing people to come to my home.
Lol i know what you mean. I have a triple stacked 30 x 36 with 2 English angoras on top (5-7 lbs) then my tiny barely 2 lb jersey wooly. She looks funny in there all by herself.

He is doing good. He is bald right now in his "summer clip" he looks really strange and alien like. I am hoping to get a litter out of him and Sasha my tort doe. We will know soon if she took or not.
lol no betty chu rabbits here but there are some gorgeous rabbits. I'm sure if I would let my rabbit's wool grow out to be 12 inches they would look just like hers! Her rabbits are bred to not molt their wool thats why their wool is so long. They are gorgeous rabbits but i'm not ready to pay...
Thank you!! Star is still doing great. She built a nest today and pulled a little bit of fur. It's early though she isn't due till Saturday. I really can't wait to see these babies! I should get lots of colors from this cross as well. I think these two are the perfect match they should make...
I am so sad that someone attacked you like that. I think you are doing an amazing job with your flops. I am a small rabbitry here too. I am trying to breed for the best that I can. I started with a few and if they produce better than themselves some of them will sadly be going to a wooler...
Just wanted to update everyone. All the rabbits are doing great, we are surviving the heat. Star the REW doe is PREGNANT. She palpated positive and at this point just resting my hand on her belly I can feel the babies. She is due on the 15th. I can't wait! The daddy is Pancake who I...
She might have been eating it because it was already dead. Put the babies in the nest box and watch closely to see if she feeds them. If you are worried about them you can just take the box out to her twice per day (dawn and dusk) and let her jump in and feed them. when she is done you can...
Breeding the two together will give you 100% rew some will be vc some not. You would never know unless you did a test breeding. Honestly i wouldn't use him.
