Rabbit recovering from flystrike - genital area looks slightly swollen

One of my rabbits unfortunately got fly strike two weeks ago but thank goodness I got her to the vets in time and now she’s back to her usual self and her wounds are all scabbed over and healing. I just had a check of her bottom area to check how she’s healing and saw that the outside of her...

Rabbit doing uncontrollable rolling for short periods of time and flicking/scratching ears alot?

I took Tilly to the vets yesterday and the vet said she has a slightly swollen ear inside her left one so she gave her 2 injections, one for pain relief and the other antibiotic. I've got to give her antibiotics every day till saturday and then I'm taking her back on saturday for a check up :)...

Rabbit doing uncontrollable rolling for short periods of time and flicking/scratching ears alot?

Thanks everyone for your answers. I could try and get a video of her rolling but she only does it occasionally when I bring her inside (lives outside with her sister) and it never lasts very long. I think your guess is probably right about ear mites (hopefully) as she doesn't particulary like me...

Rabbit doing uncontrollable rolling for short periods of time and flicking/scratching ears alot?

Tilly is nearly 1 year old now and recently she has been frequently been scratching her ears and flicking her head, from that behaviour I think it sounds like ear mites. But shes also been rolling about quite 'erratically' only for about 5 seconds or so though and she also is just generally...

What should a normal rabbit's stomach feel like?

I'm just wondering as I feel as though my 1 year old mini lop, Poppy's stomach feels a little plump- I wouldn't say hard just firm? But I might just be paranoid as my last rabbit unfortunately had cancer and had a very hard stomach and had to be put down :(. She is pooing, eating, drinking and...

    Green/yellow paws but clear discharge?

I took my rabbits to the vet about 3/4months ago now thinking they had colds as they've been having sneezing fits, however she said that their breathing was fine and the discharge was clear so looked ok. One of them have a sort of yellow/geenish colour paws and her behind is quite urine stained...

How high is the success rate for spaying does?

No sorry they didn't, the vets just said that when they put the anesthetic in his heart rate started dropping. Sounds almost as though they could have put too much in or something to me :s its the vets I usually go to so I think i'm going to go somewhere else if I do get them spayed. Although I...

How high is the success rate for spaying does?

I'm thinking of having my 2 spayed but the brother of one of them died after just being put under anesthetic so i'm a bit worried she could do aswell?

Can you spay one doe and not the other?

I know the answer will probably be no but I have two does and one of them (Tilly) has recently been quite agressive and constantly mounts the other and shes just generally so hyper. Whereas Poppy is lovely and so nice natured she never nips never mounts and is already pretty laid back. I really...

Are there any ways of stopping a female rabbit mounting other female rabbit?

There both about 7 months old now, unspayed and one of them (Tilly) keeps mounting the other(Poppy). Poppy runs away from her every time looking kinda scared but shes ok. They do both get along really well (grooming and sleeping together there not from the same litter but have always been...
