AZ dust storms

Being an AZ transplant, I never knew what a dust storm was like until we moved here. For any of you who haven't experienced this, I thought you might be curious to see what one looks like.

This is only 10 seconds long because my son used time-lapse to capture it. It's taken out our 2nd story window overlooking the desert. The mountains in the distance are 10 miles away. (you can only see them briefly at the beginning)

Well I didn't see your video but I did see a news clip of the dust storm :shock:

I would not be happy with dust left behind

Went thru to Four Corners 2 weeks ago. Went thru several patches of rain with dust storms just ahead of them.

The dust (dirt actually) does get everywhere. I made the mistake once of leaving a small window over the shower open an inch during a storm. My entire bathroom was coated with a layer of dirt. Even the white sink top was tan.
