So im going to switch my bunny to her NIC Condo this weekend. In the room she is in the floor is vinyl. But I want to put something down over thevinylbecasue the floor can get cold in the winter months. What is the best thing to put down? I have seen those rubber mats that connect together that you use for kids in some pictures. Do you think those are good? I dont want to put towels down because I know they just tear at those and move them around. I want something she cant move around. Thanks everyone Mindy

If you take a gander through the "housing and environment" threads tons of people are wondering the exact same thing as you. Flooring for a nic cage seems to be the hardest part. Here are some more recent threads, but there are tons more in there. It might take some testing to find out what works for your bunny. Took 3 or 4 trys to find a floor that worked for my guys.

I use coroplast for the bottom. I did try to use some old fleece bankets with both buns. But all they do is rip it up and throw it around and lay on the coroplast. I even try covering up half of the coroplast. Same thing. So i give them old pillow cases and scraps of fleece to lay on thats not covering up the whole area. They like that better. I catch them in the pillow cases sleeping. lol
