I'm going to say she looks most like a Californian and for shows a California weighed 5lbs at
70 days of age which is about what yours is. I'm not sure about the ear but I have heard that
    when they ha...

Color pattern is that of a Dutch rabbit but the long hair is from something else (possibly lion
    head or angora)

I also wanted to mention the mini Rex posted in the photo by RavenousDragon is actually the
same exact color (chestnut agouti) though in mini Rex the color name is called Castor. The only

I'm going to say at that weight he is a false dwarf. In show terms breeders also use the term
BUB (Big Ugly Buck) not that he is ugly in any way but he is not going to win on show tables.

I would say blue eyed white or BEW polish as well. As far as how popular or common they are it
totally depends on your area. Polish are very great pets and are known to be great for kids.

  • Posted in thread: When and How to Remove Baby Bunnies + Nest? on 08-07-2017 at 05:43 PM
As a breeder for almost 9years I completely agree with JBun. It is very important for babies to
get healthy gut flora from mom and that she teaches them to eat cecotropes as well. To give
    them the bes...

I will start by saying I am not a holland breeder and the breed I showed had only four colors
but I do comment for judges and I have learned a lot showing rabbits. Baby is not Himalayan and

Hi I'm new to rabbits and my daughter is going to show her rabbit. Could you tell me if her pedigree is good or not. I'm trying to learn more to help my daughter. We just got a 3 mos old polish in my avatar pic.

Hey, I googled searched and was reading a thread and saw you mentioning going from El Paso to California? Are you in El Paso? I am in El Paso and it seems like there are NO rabbit breeders or rescues here???? I am driving to Alamogordo on Saturday as that was the closest breeder I could find. Anyway, if you are in El Paso and know of any local breeders and other rabbit resources that you think I could find useful please let me know!!!
