hey just wondering how you did the slideshow on the pictures under lionhead bucks and does. I have a weebly website also and think the slideshow is really cool.
Thanks everyone...I will let you know what their fur turns into. It is starting to grow back and they are looking a little fuzzier then most bunnies. Really wondering if they are fuzzy lops. Would be cool if they were, I really love that breed and do not get too many of them in the rescue.
Thanks for the info...and I think you are right with the age. They seem very young to me now looking at them. I am kind of glad they are going to stay smaller, easier to find them a home. I will let you know what their hair starts to look like but it doesn't really feel wooly so we shall see...
Our rescue just got these three really cute lop bunnies into the rescue, but I am not sure exactly what breed they are. There fur is really weird because I think the owner that had them before shaved them so i am not really sure what their actual fur length is either. They look to be around...
They can get a parasite called coccidia that can cause diarrhea and loose stool. It can also cause them to be lethargic. I would take her to a vet and get a fecal done, usually that is easy cured with some deworming medication.
Yeah I have been feeding the Professional mixed with the Fiber 3 because a lot of my bunnies are older and I feel like the professional might be too rich for them. what do you guys think of this mix. I just feel like it might not be the best.
hey, just wondering what brand/kind of rabbit food you guys feed in your rabbitry? I run a rescue and have been feeding purina rabbit food but just wanted to see what other kinds are out there. Please let me know what brand/kind and in how many pounds it comes in. Thanks
I am thinking it might be the pellets im feeding. I feed purina professional and I think it might be too rich for them. I am going to try and get sweet meadow pellets that are timothy based instead
ok so I took in around 15 lionheads from a lady who could not control their breeding her in basement. All the babies in the last month have been getting excess cecils that they are not eating. They are all over the cage and stuck to their bottom. I thought maybe it was coccidia so started them...
I am glad you had the surgery done. I had a 9 week old baby that I had surgery done on because she also had the bone exposed. She did wonderful and grew to be 10 pounds and there was nothing wrong with her, she got around just fine. The only issue that she did have was the ear on the side that...
I would try and find a vet that will amputate the whole leg, that has the bad foot. I have had three rabbits in the rescue that have gotten one of their legs amputated and all three have done wonderful and are still living today. If you find a good vet you shouldn't have too much of a risk it is...
Don't blame yourself it is very hard to save baby bunnies. I was surprised that they lived for so long. I have been rescuing wild bunnies for a few years now and just decided this year not to do it anymore because I feel more of them die then live and it is just too heartbreaking. Please keep us...
No two males will ever get along. You best bond would be male/female with the male being neutered. and then you next best bond is female/female but they have to be either siblings or mother/ daughter.
