I don’t think she has the dense fur of a Rex.
Our scale just died so I can’t weigh her right now. :(
I asked a rabbit breeder that I know and she said she has the face of a Havana... ??
I realize it's hard to tell especially because we do not know how old she is. If she is a NZ baby or...
Thanks!! I guess what I find the most challenging for us is that there is no tray under the wire. It's a double hutch and everything falls in the bottom hutch and then onto the floor. :( Wood pellets is a good idea for the litter box though!
Wondering what is the easiest and best way to keep cage clean with minimal work?
We have a covered outdoor hutch with wire flooring. Right now we are putting newspaper in the bottom and a towel on top. We also have a litter box with hay to encourage her to do her business in one spot. Sides...
We found this cute bunny eating clover in our front yard 3 days ago. We have posted several notices and have contacted our local humane society with no luck so far. Until the owner comes forward, we will keep her. We used to have rabbits and we have everything we need. I think she might be a...
So far, I've been separating the kits from mom at 7 weeks while keeping the kits together for a week to minimize stress before sending some of them off to their new homes. I was told by some customers that other breeders they've spoken to allow the babies to leave around 7 weeks. Wondering...
Thank you all! At about 5 weeks old, I was pretty sure I had seen the typical cylinder which meant male but I second guessed myself when I checked again at 7.5 weeks. I think what Marjov mentioned is exactly what I was doing wrong, applying too much pressure!
I put a deposit towards an orange holland lop doe. I saw pictures of her when she was about 1-2 weeks old and saw another one today at 5.5 weeks. She appears much lighter in color than she was as a tiny kit. Is this normal? Do orange rabbits typically lose color intensity as they get bigger?
Thanks for the replies. His eyes look more blue in person than in the picture. That combined to the white on his body most likely makes him a VM harlequin. If I was to breed him with a BEW, I could expect to have about half a litter of BEW right?
I'm thinking this is a blue/fawn harlequin HL. He has blue eyes. Am I right? The thing that throws me off is the white. Typically they don't have white, correct?
What color of holland lop would you recommend I breed him with?
