In Sammy's last litter of babies, she had 2 peanuts, both of which were still alive last night. Our normal procedure is to leave them in there until they die, and other than overnight, we check on them about every 2 hours so as not to leave a dead baby in the pile for too long. This morning...

i thought my bun was being mean to me when i'd put rose petals in his cage for him... i'd get a fistful and go into his cage and just open my fist, and it would rain rose petals. he would pounce on them and sometimes in the process, get ahold of my hand. for a while i thought he was being mean...

When we first got our buns, but after they had been bonded... we put them in a little pen in the back yard and let them roam free. we also put their cage in the pen so they could go back in the cage if they wanted... and there was newspaper in the cage. when we came back out a little while later...
