I am not a breeder but I would like to see it remain open. I think the breeders know SO much about rabbits and I love learning about different breeds and colors. I generally trust them to know their stuff since they put so much effort, time, money etc. into what they are doing.

Thanks for the reply. It doesn't appear to have burned the skin, just the fur. There was a dark patch which he's now licked off, so he has a little patch of short fur in that spot.

First he had to go to the vet for a well-bunny check up. Vet said he looked great. Then, a few minutes ago I caught him chewing on an electrical wire (to the DVD player) and fussed at him. Couple minutes later there's a huge POP behind the TV and I see SPARKS! Felipe shot out from behind the TV...

He's managed to lick off all the burnt fur, so now he has a little patch of much shorter hair. He finally let me close enough to mess with him. It didn't hurt the skin at all that I can see. Now he wants me to pet him constantly.
