    Show off your bunny's home!

Oh wow I bet buns love the carpet! I do have a shop vac... Great idea!!! And I'm truthfully relieved to hear the vaccumming doesnt have to be a several times daily activity. I can't believe how extensive your habitats are, I'm sending my bun over to visit ;)

    Show off your bunny's home!

Wow Jennifer! You have VERY lucky bunnies! It's a rabbit mansion!!! Spike is not neutered, and we have only recently been really trying to get him to actually eat his hay. He has had it available for the last year or so but he doesn't like it. We've even moved on into gourmet stuff from the vet...

    Show off your bunny's home!

Hi Everyone! I've just been informed that my bun's cage should be larger... our problem is he is litterbox trained to pee but doesn't like to poop in the box (we have a wire floor with plastic tray). He is a fuzzy lop so I need a system that will keep him from stepping/sitting in his poop. How...

    SIck Bunny- Any input appreciated

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to let you know that Spike has miraculously recovered, back to his old self for no apparent reason. Went to vet today anyway, he DOES have dental problems after all. Vet clipped one tooth but he needs to be put under for another procedure. X rays taken and found...

Tips for taking rabbit in car?

The bribery worked like a charm!!! I gave him his fav parsley and the dreaded yogurt treats, blasted the ac and kept the car as quiet as possible. He went two hours in the car and only mild discomfort and irritation. Amazing!!! Thanks!!!

    Kiwi is not well

HI Mariah, Hope your Kiwi eats soon, and definitely hope Papaya doesn't start acting depressed. I'm not gonna lie, my bun pouts a few times a month because I work most of the day too and we don't get to play very often. I am curious to know how sensitive rabbits are to grief and new...

    SIck Bunny- Any input appreciated

Oh I forgot to mention there is plenty of poop and urine. Chewing seems fine not dropping food or bits. Still perched up on his food bowl for extended periods of time though... Strange behavior for him. Looks like he is falling asleep like that, his eyes still have not been open as wide as...

Tips for taking rabbit in car?

Ok, we have located a highly recommended vet in the Exotic Animal Care Center in Pasadena and I feel like she is our best bet, now the only problem is getting Spike there. In the car Spike is ok for about ten minutes. After that he is just laid out. Laying on his tummy, sulking, uninterested...

    SIck Bunny- Any input appreciated

I'm phone interviewing vets now. Spike seems better this morning, not hunched in box or sitting up on food bowl. He is laying down in his normal spots, ate a bit of pellet and hay, still won't drink out of bottle. But heavy breathing. I wouldnt say labored but def heavier. Thank you for the well...

    SIck Bunny- Any input appreciated

Ok this is weird, Spike has been sitting perched on his food bowl with his two front legs, and two hind legs on the floor. I have been noticing this all day but thought he was trying to eat. Now I think he is actually most comfortable this way. He stays in this position for an extended amount of...
