    Sperryville rabbit vet??

Nope. I checked that page first. Still emailed some of them that were too far, though. Just to know price, maybe it would be worth the trip. But it would have to be done within a few hrs so I could stay in town and pick him up right after when I go home. Not going to make 2 trips for that...

    Lop Laughter

This is Dewy, our new Holland Lop buck. I'm looking for a vet to have him neutered. Got him from a breeder who had to sell him because he is sterile, they were also potty training him and he was pretty good at it. Hoping the de-sexing will help. He will be a year old on the 21st!

    Garage floor living...yes/no?

Cricket is going to her new home tomorrow. I spent the evening with her in the run. I was cleaning and she was rearranging everything I touched, lol! She had a lot of fun and I got a lot of cleaning done. If she didn't freak out so much when you pick her up, I might of kept her. My fiance loves...

    Odd head movement...

I'm going to say Pear is just scanning. I've seen her do it so many times now. She gets time out in a big run and she does it when she stops hopping or see's me go by. I'm quite sure there is nothing wrong with her health-wise. ^.^

    Garage floor living...yes/no?

The only bun big enough that might get out is the Holland Lop, Cricket, and I think I found the perfect home for her. Hopefully, she will be going home Friday!

    Garage floor living...yes/no?

Went up to get pictures, but my camera battery died. So waiting for it to charge. I put up a temporary run. Put down a couple towels, box of hay, box with cardboard padding & a bowl of water. So far Cricket, Tsunami, Daisy & Pearl have been out. Pearl is out right now. Daisy & Pearl both know...

    Garage floor living...yes/no?

First off, do not start an 'advice fight' with me. They live in the garage, period! There are far too many variables that can hurt the rabbits in the main house, mainly dogs & cats. We also have a lot of furniture that is not ours and we cannot have them eating it, there are also wood floors we...

    Rabbit Won't Drink His Water

Check is skin for hydration. Gently pinch the fur on his back or back of neck and release, it should bounce back pretty fast. If not, he could be under hydrated. Other than that, feeding veggies will help.

    Chew logs

The tunnels from Petco/Petsmart that are 'tree log' shaped and red, my rabbits and guinea pigs LOVED them. Just wish I could get them cheaper, I would buy SO many of them...

I have some questions about hay

    1. How do I know if it's a good bale of hay? Green, strong/thick grass smell, no brown or wet spots. 2. How much should it weigh, how much space will it take up and how do I store it? I live in an apartment, I'm hoping that I can put it in some plastic storage bins and store it in my closet...

Found a place that sells Timothy bales - but not the size I expected

Go to Farm and Home Center or other feed stores and get the 40-80lbs bale of hay for $13 with tax.
