There are a few reasons why a rabbit might leave normally formed cecotrope clusters uneaten.
Young or baby rabbits might do it because they are easily distracted by things and may forget
    to eat them. ...

I agree that it looks like bits left uneaten from a cecotrope. Sometimes this happens and is no
big deal. I'll find the odd one on occasion from my rabbits, though the ones I find are usually
    dried up...

Hay pellets don't have to be measured out. It's just hay in pellet form.Skavatar, it sounds
like what you are feeding seems to be working out fine. Hopefully you can find baled grass hay,
    that's a muc...

Usually if they bop you and sit there, they want something like head rubs, food, or you to move
out of their way. But if she bops and dashes off(especially if she stops and looks back at
    you), she is ...

Actually those hay pellets will still provide good roughage for the digestive tract, as it's
more coarsely ground than the normal food pellets that we feed to our rabbits. It's not going
    to provide th...

  • Posted in thread: Bunny died in confusing accident. Very depressed on 05-18-2017 at 04:13 AM
Unfortunately it does sound like your rabbits death was due to either the fall or the shaking.
You are correct that rabbits are extremely fragile creatures, which makes them very bad pets
    for children...

If your rabbit has gas and a bloated stomach you should not be syringe feeding anything as this
increases the pressure(and pain) in the stomach. True bloat is an emergency. You need to take
    your rabbi...

Though an ear infection is one possible cause for loss of balance in rabbits, there are a few
other common causes as well. E. cuniculi would be one, but for a rabbit that age I would be
    looking very c...

  • Posted in thread: Can I Dilute Ivermectin for Mites? on 05-09-2017 at 08:10 PM
If this is going to be given orally, I would just split the dose up and carefully squirt the
excess into another 1ml syringe first. There's no need to dilute it. I would also round the
    dosage amount t...

When my does babies first came out of the nest box, she stared at them all busily hopping
around 'HER' pen and I swear she looked absolutely frantic. Like how did they get loose. They
    kept trying to g...

She is a very nice person and is currently helping me save my little bunny Sugar. She totally knows her facts and doesn't freak out when something doesn't work. She keeps her cool and helps me think of other ways to help my rabbit. She stays in touch and gives me answers to my questions quickly. She is very trustworthy and I would go to her for any rabbit emergency.
